Five Goodwin Dental Hygiene students were recognized in
Connecticut Oral Health’s online newsletter for their participation at an
October presentation at the Bloomfield Senior Center. Close to 25% of
seniors between the ages 65-74 have gum disease, which is associated with
diabetes, heart and lung disease, and stroke. The presentation helped them
learn how to keep their teeth and gums healthy in fun and interactive
gathering. Congrats to our students on demonstrating how the Dental Hygiene program is helping the greater community!
