The Student Services Department is going all out to support the upcoming “Pause and Paint” fundraiser on Saturday, September 19! Artist Nathalie Villeneuve will guide participants step by step to create a fun painting entitled “Lovely Vision.” Proceeds from this event will help send a Goodwin College student to the National Federation of Opticianry School College Bowl in Nashville. Students Services has purchased two tickets to the fundraiser (value $45 each) and is raffling them off to students. If you are interested in attending, please email Martha Ifkovic in Student Services at mifkovic@goodwin.edu by noon on Friday, September 18. Winners will be notified by email that afternoon.

I want to personally welcome you all to the Fall 2015 semester at Goodwin College. We hope that your semester is off to a smooth start! All enrolled students at Goodwin College are responsible for reading and familiarizing themselves with the procedures and policies outlined in the Student Handbook.


We wanted to let all students know that the Student Services Team is here to support you at the College. Our office suite is located on the second floor of the main building at One Riverside Drive (Suite 217). Our office is open and staffed to assist students 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. Please stop by anytime to get the support and resources you need. Goodwin College’s Academic Success Center is in the process of hiring new Math, BIO 120, CHEM, and CAP 110 tutors. This is a federal work-study position; to be eligible, the tutor must maintain a 3.0 CGPA and have received an A or A- in the course they wish to tutor. The position is 15 hours a week and the schedule is flexible. Interested candidates should contact Surbhi Patel, Academic Success Center Coordinator, at spatel@goodwin.edu.
