CTfastrak
is a new bus rapid transit system that will serve travelers in
central Connecticut. It offers passengers a swift, 20-minute ride on the
dedicated CTfastrak line between New Britain and downtown
Hartford, bypassing traffic on I-84 and heavily-congested local streets.
Beginning March 28, CTfastrak will provide frequent daily service
from early morning until late at night. To introduce this initiative, the Connecticut Department of
Transportation is offering the first nine days of CTfastrak service free
of charge. As many members of the
Goodwin Community use mass transit to come and go from campus, we wanted to
bring this new resource to everyone’s attention.
