Daylight Savings
Time starts on Sunday, March 8. Clocks are moved forward by one hour at 2
a.m. Standard Time, and the time becomes 3 a.m. Daylight Savings Time. The
National Fire Prevention Association and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety
Commission recommend changing the battery in smoke and carbon monoxide
detectors when we change our clocks. For those who like to have correct time
stamps on your pictures, remember to set the clock in your still and/or video
camera. Although many devices change automatically, take a few minutes to
review other household and personal devices. (Thanks to Assistant VP for IT Dan
Rego for the reminder!)
