A reminder to all Goodwin
students and employees to visit the Optical Training Store on the first floor
at 403 Main Street. Summer hours of operation are Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 to
5 p.m., from May 9 to August 10. All that’s required for your visit is an
eyeglass prescription, dated within one year. The store is a hands-on learning
experience for Goodwin’s third semester Ophthalmic Science students, under the
direct supervision of a licensed optician/instructor. Services include eyewear sales and consultations, minor repairs, and cleaning and adjustments of eyewear. For more information,
