To mark the 2014 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, an event promoting victims’ rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf is planned at the Hartford Public Library on April 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. "30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice" is a collaborative effort of the Connecticut Office of the Victim Advocate, Connecticut Office of Victim Services, and Connecticut Coalition against Domestic Violence, Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services, and Mothers against Drunk Driving. Download flyer for information and RSVP.

Clothing Drive Supports Charities of Hope

CT Alive and Charities of Hope will sponsor clothing drive fundraisers on Saturday, April 12, and Saturday, April 26, at Dillon Mailing and Printing, 114 Shield St. in West Hartford. Your donations of clothing, shoes, boots, linens, comforters, books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, and textbooks are welcome. The drives will benefit CT Alliance for Victims of Violence and their families.
