The Goodwin College Ophthalmic Science staff is excited to invite
all students and employees to two open houses at the Optical Training Store,
Monday, June 6, and Wednesday, June 8, both from 1 to 5 p.m. at 403 Main
Street. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the store, tour other areas
of the facility, and see a demonstration of polarization and transition lenses.
Most importantly, they will learn how the Optical Training Store can mean
custom service and cost savings for everyone in the Goodwin community.
Guests will also be eligible to enter a drawing for a free eyeglass frame
from a select collection, with the purchase of lenses. Light refreshments will
be available… drop in anytime between 1 and 5! For more information, contact
Maryann Santos, Ophthalmic Science Program Director, at msantos@goodwin.edu.
This year's Taste of Goodwin has been cancelled. Stay tuned for some exciting summer activities!
Please be aware that Pratt & Whitney has planned a fly-over at
its East Hartford facility of its Airbus A320neo. It is scheduled today, May

this notice to its neighbors: “Residents in the Greater Hartford region may see

wanted to share this alert with the Goodwin community.
